Proposed Saturday Family Catechesis for 2019-2020
We are considering changing our Saturday classes next year to a Family Catechesis session. This would require one parent and children attending the 1st Saturday of the month and then the parent would work on take home lessons with their children for the second lesson of the month. Families would be required to complete a Mass reflection during the month on a Mass that you attend (it could be a scheduled or unscheduled children's Mass at St. Francis or anywhere)
The session would last from 8:30am-10:30am (half hour longer). Your child would go to class and receive instruction while you receive instruction for the Take Home lesson in the multi-purpose room.
Before implementing this program, I would like your feedback. Please complete the survey below and let me know how what you think. SURVEY RESPONSES SHOULD BE RETURNED NO LATER THAN MARCH 18.
PARENT & CHILD(REN) ATTENDANCE REQUIRED AT ONCE MONTHLY SATURDAY SESSIONS, ONE TAKE-HOME LESSON PER MONTH AND ONE MASS REFLECTION PER MONTH.
