 Journey in Faith

Our faith journey begins at Baptism. Our parents are our first catechists. As we grow in our faith and apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our daily lives, we grow closer to God. In our Religious Ed Program we continue what began at Baptism and, along with parents, help our children build a foundation of faith that will continue throughout our lives. By working in small groups, our catechists and children build small faith communities.

By celebrating together with our families at regular Sunday Mass, and at our special Grade Level Masses, we connect that small faith community to the larger community of our parish. It is a family journey, a sharing of our faith and the rich traditions that have been celebrated by Catholics for over 2000 years. The examples of living that Jesus gave us are still quite relevant in this age. Together with parents, we hope to help our children learn to live faith-filled lives, and that faith will be their guide as they face the challenges of our times.

As you explore our website, you will find informative, helpful and inspirational supplements to our regular Religious Ed sessions. We hope to use this website as another means of connecting our faith community. Please visit it often.
