Anointing of the Sick
We are people of sacraments. These visible signs of invisible grace are important parts of our spiritual lives. The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death, but rather intended for people needing the healing and strengthening power of Christ, during times of illness and aging. Here at St. Francis of Assisi Parish we celebrate the communal Sacrament of the sick every Monday after the morning mass, but keep in mind that priests are available to offer the Sacrament where the ill person is at home or in the hospital. Please call during office hours to make arrangements. In case of emergency or after office hours, please call and follow the prompts.
Our Mission ~ The St. Francis of Assisi community is a welcoming Christian family. We believe in Jesus Christ, and are guided by the Holy Spirit and the example of St. Francis. We gather to celebrate, to grow in the knowledge of our faith rooted in the Catholic tradition, and to recognize our responsibility to reach out to the world.
