Men’s weekend - February 25 & 26, 2023
Women’s weekend - March 4 & 5, 2023

What is Christ Renews His Parish?
Easily known as CRHP, (pronounced Chirp), it is a practical and  pastorally sound program which has stimulated  an on-going process for spiritual renewal involving the men and women of the parish.  It is designed to bring members of St. Francis together  in Christ  with a focus on the Gospel and growth in the parish community, integral to the life of the parish.  It is an excellent opportunity for the renewal of understanding the basic beliefs and traditions of the faith.  There is an overnight stay on this 30 hour renewal experience involved.  You will have the time to listen, learn, refresh, reflect, pray, participate in the sacraments,  and perhaps find what may be missing in your life. You will also have fun, great food and great company.  The atmosphere is casual and you will begin friendships that will last a lifetime.  It is a break from a busy schedule to renew spiritually. There is no cost to you except for some of your time.

CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH 30 HOUR RENEWAL EVENT is an open invitation to parishioners who are interested in continued personal growth and spiritual enhancement in an atmosphere of peaceful reflection here at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

What it is not:
A silent retreat, a public confession, a cult, clique, or preselected group.

THE BEST WAY TO LEARN ABOUT CRHP?  EXPERIENCE IT!
CRHP - THE BEGINNING

"It took a long time .  Actually a really long time for me to decide to participate in the women’s Christ Renews His Parish weekend. I would sit in church and listen to the ladies talk about the weekend and hownice it would be.  I would leave church thinking ,”well , maybe” and then forget about it , until three years ago when I said “yes” to the invitation to participate. This truly was one of the best decisions I ever made.  Being on this weekend is a very enriching experience.  As stories of faith, love  and life were shared, I could sense  a movement within me which  opened my heart, mind and spirit to Jesus in a deeper way.  Time was carved out for prayer and reflection.  This was paired with time for chats, sharing good food, and laughter.  I gave myself a gift three years ago.  Think about giving yourself the gift of participating in this year’s Christ Renews His Parish Weekend for Women. You will not be sorry."
B. Kameron, CRHP 14

"I attended CRHP after many years of thinking I should, but always finding an excuse not to go.  It was a wonderful weekend filled with prayer, reflection, laughter and tears.  The extraordinary  women I met will be life-long friends. Because of my CRHP weekend , I try to offer a kind word or a smile more often."
L. Andrews CRHP 15

"My CRHP weekend really benefited me and my whole family. The weekend afforded me much needed time to reflect who I was as a husband, father, and man. It kicked off what turned out to be a meaningful lent and Easter season. My spirituality has grown through CRHP and I was able to meet some great guys along the way."
