Eucharistic Ministers
Do you…have a great love for the Eucharist? Do you…want to be an integral part of the Liturgy? Do you…have a longing to grow in your Catholic faith? Eucharistic Ministers have the honor and privilege of distributing the Precious Body and Blood of Christ during the Mass to parishioners of Saint Francis of Assisi. Mandating for this ministry requires a 2-session initial Vicariate training, which may be held at either St. Francis of Assisi or a neighboring parish; a walk-through training at St. Francis will follow the Vicariate training. We schedule approximately 60 ministers per week and are in great need of many more volunteers.

Funeral Servers (Adult)
Assist and serve at weekday and/or weekend funeral Masses. The time commitment is “as needed” and there is a 2-3 hours-long training session. Past serving experience is helpful, but not necessary. Commissioned ministers, at times, assist with committal services.
Sacristans
Sacristans prepare the sacred vessels, liturgical books and other items for the celebration of the Mass. Sacristans also serve in the occasional cleaning of the sacristy. Time commitment requires one Mass every third weekend. Training sessions will be provided.

Art & Environment Committee
The church environment for the Liturgical Seasons—Ordinary Time, Easter, Christmas, Lent and Advent—needs to be changed accordingly. Volunteers are needed to prepare the environment for each season. This involves plant watering and care, and liturgical display setup.
