Xtreme Youth Service
Being disciples of Christ, we love our neighbors as ourselves. So we work for justice, and serve those in need. Xtreme Service feeds the hungry, gives drink to the thirsty, shelters the homeless, clothes the naked, visits the sick and imprisoned, and buries the dead in the following ways.
NOTE: (Additional service opportunities are available through a number of ministries here at Saint Francis. Please check the Parish Bulletin and/or the Volunteer section of the parish website for a list of these opportunities.)

Service Hours
We gladly help as much as we can to assist students in completing service hour requirements for their schools.

- If something we do at Youth Ministry qualifies according to your school’s guidelines for service hours, you will need to provide the form for the leader to sign.
- Due to the number of schools SFA teens attend and the vast differences in what qualifies for service hours it is your responsibility to keep track of service hours, and what projects qualify.
"Each of you knows that the foundation of our faith is charity. Without it, our religion would crumble. We will never be truly Catholic unless we conform our entire lives to the two commandments that are the essence of the Catholic faith: to love the Lord, our God, with all our strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves... With charity, we sow the seeds of that true peace which only our faith in Jesus Christ can give us by making us all brothers and sisters."

Our Mission ~ The St. Francis of Assisi community is a welcoming Christian family. We believe in Jesus Christ, and are guided by the Holy Spirit and the example of St. Francis. We gather to celebrate, to grow in the knowledge of our faith rooted in the Catholic tradition, and to recognize our responsibility to reach out to the world.
