Ministers of Care

This ministry, on behalf of the community of St. Francis of Assisi, is a sign of support and concern to the sick, the elderly and the homebound through visiting, sharing prayer, the Holy Eucharist and the Word of God in Scripture.
Our ministers keep the homebound connected to parish activities by bringing the weekly parish bulletin, providing Christmas flowers and Easter baskets, and inviting them to participate in other parish activities through their ministry of prayer.
If you or a member of your family are unable to attend Mass our Ministers of Care are here to assist by bringing the Holy Eucharist on a schedule that meets your needs.
Ministry Coordinator: Sr. Gael Gensler, OSF
Please e-mail Sr. Gael or call the Church office at 708-460-0042.

Our Mission ~ The St. Francis of Assisi community is a welcoming Christian family. We believe in Jesus Christ, and are guided by the Holy Spirit and the example of St. Francis. We gather to celebrate, to grow in the knowledge of our faith rooted in the Catholic tradition, and to recognize our responsibility to reach out to the world.
