Liturgical Commission
The Liturgical Commission is a commission of the Parish Pastoral Council. The purpose of the Liturgical Commission is to set goals, develop standards and evaluate the practice for liturgical life of the parish. The Commission is responsible for providing training and formation for all involved in liturgical life. In addition, it serves as a resource to make information available about opportunities for growth, including Archdiocesan and Deanery workshops and programs.
The celebration of the liturgy is central. It is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed and, at the same time, it is the fount from which flows the power of the Church. We are called to celebrate, to pray, to worship, to remember, to proclaim, and to go out to the world as disciples of Christ. As the source and summit of our Christian life, our corporal worship demands our best efforts, our diligence, and careful preparation as ministers through the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Our Mission ~ The St. Francis of Assisi community is a welcoming Christian family. We believe in Jesus Christ, and are guided by the Holy Spirit and the example of St. Francis. We gather to celebrate, to grow in the knowledge of our faith rooted in the Catholic tradition, and to recognize our responsibility to reach out to the world.
